I am writing to you in your capacity as a director of Anglo-American PLC. I was distressed to read about how CEO Cynthia Carroll is putting her greed ahead of the survival of Alaska's ecosystems and the global salmon fishery by pursuing the Pebble Mine. I wanted to take this opportunity to point out that Anglo-American's activities hardly comport with Citigroup's stated commitment to sustainability and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. I urge you to take all action possible to undo Anglo-American's investment in Pebble, and failing that, to remove both yourself and Citigroup from any financial or other involvement with this outlaw corporation.
