The Presidential candidates are debating and Cynthia McKinney, despite being on 32 state ballots and having a clear base of nation-wide support, was not invited. The Commission on Presidential Debates - a supposedly non-partisan sponsor - has once again invited only the major party candidates to participate, even though 7 candidates are on enough ballots to be elected the next President of the United States. Since we can't depend on the CPD to do the right thing, we need you!

On September 2th, October 2nd (for the VP debate to which Rosa Clemente was likewise not invited), October 7th, and October 15th, the Green Party of the United States invites you to host a debate-watching house party. Barack Obama and John McCain will get to represent themselves, but YOU get to represent Cynthia McKinney and the Green Party ticket!

Watch the debate with your neighbors, family and friends and bring up the issues the major candidates won't be talking about - corporate control of our regulatory laws, immediate withdrawl from the illegal occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, a universal single-payer health care plan, and real solutions for the poor in America.
